Oxley has a particular character that visitors frequently comment upon.

It is something palpable, experienced as part of our daily life together, but difficult to define. It could be described, perhaps, as spiritedness – for students and staff alike – or a verve. It is not something which is taught so much as caught.

We hope you’ll visit us as part of an Open Morning, a normal day without curation, to discover this for yourself.

Please also feel welcome to attend our community events and Drama and Musical productions. Submitting an enquiry is the first step to remain informed about what’s happening at Oxley.

Our Centre for Ethics Speaker Series events are open to the whole community and tickets sell out quickly.

As a truly independent, non-denominational school, we offer bespoke programs like Cornerstone (Years 7–10), where students develop ethical reasoning, critical thinking, and respectful debate—essential skills for the future. Cornerstone Conversations, invites parents and carers to explore this innovative program, engage in hands-on learning and explore how we foster curiosity and independent thought. Parents and Carers are then invited to the Junior Production of Treasure Island, showcasing the talent and creativity of our Years 5–9 students in a dynamic performance. Come and experience the 98ĚĂapp Distinctives. RSVP Via the link in our bio. *Please note this event is for parents and carers only

Open Morning sees students front and centre of the College, as they are at all times. They will welcome you, host a Q&A session and tour you around the Oxley campus. Staff present the values, offerings and aspirations of the College and are available for further discussion over morning tea.

As our Open Mornings are a true reflection of the everyday student experience, we hope that you gain a sense of the Oxley spirit that we believe is caught, not taught.
